First Aid 

We are prepared to handle the standard medical emergencies encountered at a sporting event.

  • Bleeding and wound care 

  • Shock

  • Bone, Joint and Muscle Injuries

  • Spinal Injury

  • Concussion and Head Injury

  • Heart Attack and Chest Pain

  • Stroke

  • Asthma

  • Diabetic Emergency

  • Using an Auto-Injector

  • Allergic Reactions and Anaphylactic Shock

CPR

In the event of cardiac arrest we are prepared to implement the necessary skills to help the victim.

  • Provide basic life support, including airway management, breathing and circulation

  • Trained on the difference between standard CPR and CPR for a choking victim

  • Certified to deliver CPR on

    • Adults

    • Toddlers

    • Infants

  • Certified in the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)

Event Coordination

As your Event Medical Coordinator (EMC), our services include participation in the overall event planning as requested by the client.  We recommend involving the EMC at the early stages of your event planning which allows us to provide answers to basic medical coverage questions.

We will provide a checklist of questions that ensure the proper level of support is provided. 

 

We DO NOT charge to attend on-site meetings or join conference calls.

Incident Tracking/Reporting

As medical services are provided, we track all incidents and document on an "End of Event Summary" tracker.  We will document the exact details of the occurrence while they are fresh in the minds of those who witnessed the events.  

​

This report is submitted back to the event coordinator withing 24 hours of the incident.  This information may be useful in the future when dealing with liability issues stemming from the incident.

Optimum Standby Support Cost

  • $35 per hour 

    • Rate is for your team (i.e. Kids soccer or baseball event)

    • Other team is responsible for hiring our services or other coverage

  • Fee includes planning and preparation time

  • The minimum duration for standby time is 1 hour  

  • Time is billed to the half hour
